Sussurro was a commissioned piece by Die Angewandte for the Angewandte Festival 2019 in Vienna.
The inspiration for this piece was take by the lines on the world map, representing the water currents. The movement of the water streams are metaphoric to human flow, connecting all the people coming to the festival and moving from space to space.
The material used is ‘Wiener Weiß’ chalk used on football fields. Symbolic of the people leaving the festival the lines will eventually be washed away by the rain, leaving no trace of what was once there.
