Morphing Matters is a collaboration between Studio ARFA x Jesse Greulich, with the shared interest of reimagining waste as a resource in design. Our core motivation is to draw attention to the potential hidden within materials assumed to have fulfilled their original purpose, which are then cast aside.
First, by subjecting the material to transformative techniques, it morphs from seemingly mundane to revealing its hidden aesthetic. Furthermore, the viewer can choose to interact with the object directly, through touch, adding their own interpretation to its visual identity.
